Get Involved!

There are several ways to get involved and positively influence young people at the Boys & Girls Clubs of American Samoa:

Mentoring – Mentors and members engage in a variety of activities in group settings such as playing games and sports, doing homework and art projects, sharing general life experiences as well as field trips with other mentors and mentees. For more information about the Mentoring Program, please send an email to or contact the Executive Director, Ainuu Taase Amosa at (684) 699-2222.

General Club Volunteer – Please call (684) 699-2222 or 699-2225 to inquire about any volunteer opportunities. Adult and Student applications are available for download here.

Supply Drives – For individuals and organizations who lack time but are still looking for ways to support BGCAS, we are always in need of new school supplies, holiday toys, sporting equipment, games, crafts and other supplies that make the Club vibrant and special for young people. For information about how to give or support our Club through a supply drive, please contact us via email or telephone.

Community Volunteers Highlight

In 2013, UH Cohort 26 partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of American Samoa (BGCAS) in a community service project where several teachers volunteered their services and assisted with mentoring Club members during the BGCAS Summer Program.

Last year, BGCAS was fortunate to continue that partnership with the 10+ Teacher-Volunteers from the UH CHASE Program over a period of 9 weeks during the 2014 Spring Semester.

This 2015 Spring Semester, we were happy and blessed to once again have 18 teachers from UH Cohort 30 as they volunteer to share their time, knowledge and talents with BGCAS Club members.

For all your support, we say "Thank you!" and we look forward to continuing this wonderful partnership as we seek to broaden our reach and deepen our impact to provide beneficial programs and services to the youth we serve.
