The Boys & Girls Clubs of American Samoa ensures success is within reach for every youth in American Samoa. Our Tafuna Clubhouse serves young people from the ages of 6 to 18 during the critical Out-of-School time. When the after-school bell rings, Club doors open to a world of possibilities. It is a time to transform kids' lives, and better the future of our Territory.
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship after school. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision, or out on the street when school is out. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.
Founded in 2010, BGCAS has served hundreds of American Samoan youth. The Club is open every day after school and during the summer, when youth most need productive outlets and a safe place to learn and grow.
Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. BGCAS is dedicated to providing a world-class Club experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors. We strive to help all members stay on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, while demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow- all while having fun.
