Today's young people face life-threatening challenges on a daily basis- substance abuse, neglect, gangs, and the list goes on.  If our youth are to grow up and become productive citizens of society, they need a place where they can be just kids.  They need caring adults and mentors to help them develop the skills and self-confidence to say "no" to dangerous pastimes. 

As part of our commitment to create opportunities for community investment in our organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of American Samoa welcomes volunteers in a variety of roles including activities that directly support the development of our youth to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Share some of your time to help a child.  You can volunteer in any capacity:

• Homework Help
• Arts & Crafts
• Drama, Singing, Dance
• Computers & Technology
• Reading
• Sports (Team and Individual)
• Health, Prevention Programs
• Chess and other Board Games
• Citizenship & Leadership; Public Speaking
• Job and Career Preparation and Mentoring

You can also volunteer to help with administrative assistance:

• Marketing
• Events (Sponsorship and Planning)

After the application is completed and submitted:

• All volunteers and mentors are required to go through a background check
• You will receive an email or phone call from a member of our team to schedule a time for a New Volunteer orientation
